"That's funny. You seem to have gotten the liberal results from Google."
No, I searched for, and got hits on, the ENTIRE quote as HE had it written. ( do it yourself, let me know if you get anything different ) The sources that you cite, are NOT where he cut and pasted his information from. They are NOT his sources.
A quote is a quote my friend, not something that just sounds similar to what you are writing, and a little simple research appears to show that he did his research on anti-islamic sites. He chose to use it that way, and you chose to copy what he had written, rather then do the simple research that would have shown that there ARE other translations of the Koran that do not present it in the fashion you would like it portrayed.
This was not an accident, he went to an anti site and picked it out. And like all good fanatics who simply follow their teacher, you parroted it back.

I cut and pasted his ENTIRE quote as HE posted it too.
I got hits from the 2 islamic sites where they have the same, exact verses.
I don't know WHERE, exactly, he found it, but it could have, easily, been one of the 2 ISLAMIC quran sites.
I guess that means islam is anti- islamic.
"I got hits from the 2 islamic sites where they have the same, exact verses."
... but if you actually read those 2, you would find that they were from the blog portion of the sites where people had posted anit-islamic statements. ... Which is fairly obvious since his "quote" combines variations of 3 different lines that anyone doing legitimate research would never do.
(Hint- click the show similar sites link on google - it will give you more )
"I don't know WHERE, exactly, he found it, but it could have,..."
So, it appears we agree that the source that YOU used to further your point appears to come from an unknown source and NOT from the Koran, or at least not from any translation of it that might be widely used by Islamics to teach from.

So it appears you didn't look again.
You're telling me that the Islamic Server of THE MUSLIM STUDENTS ASSOCIATION AT USC is really "from the blog portion of the sites where people had posted anit-islamic statements."?Is that right?
Also, the second link i gave you is on:
http://www.al-shia.com/html/eng/index.php
about:
Aalulbayt (a.s.) Global Information Center
(Central Office)
Acknowledging that the holy city of Qom is the center for Shi`ism and a cradle of Islamic scholars, the world has desired to become directly acquainted with the Shi`ite culture through the scholars of Qom. Therefore, it was out of necessity that this Internet site was created - to fulfill this desire.
Alhamdulillah there are many Internet sites introducing Shi`ism, however, there is still a need for more. The uniqueness of this site is that it gives services that are either not available on other sites or not in such a complete manner.
The Aalulbayt (a.s.) Global Information Center has been established in Spring of 1998 (on the anniversary of al-Ghadeer Day). This Center whose goal is to spread the Shi`ite culture through the WEB and create a kind of strong relation between the theological class and the public, is being managed under the supervision of the office of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sistani (may Allah protect him).
That is also "from the blog portion of the sites where people had posted anit-islamic statements."?

The first few words of Dan's "quote"..
"Truly, if the Hypocrites, those in whose hearts is a disease, those who stir up sedition,..."
From Yusufall's...
"Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City,..."
From PICKTHAL:
"If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease,..."
From SHAKIR:
"If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the agitators in the city do not desist,..."
These are similar, but as you can see he did NOT cut and paste his "quote" ( which appears to comprise 33:60,33:61 and 33:62) from the sites you cite.
On the contrary - Dan's "quote" appears EXACTLY word for word on the anti-Islamic sites -
http://noorullah.net/craig_winn_peaceful_muslims_rebuttal.htm
http://62.177.239.205/go/vincent/www.prophetofdoom.net/quotes2.html
http://www.prophetofdoom.net/faqs6.html
So, just where do you think friend Dan has been doing his research ?
The places where people are taught about Islam, or the places where people are taught to hate Islam ?
You're last post proves you are not reading and comprehending.

noorullah.net/craig_winn_peaceful_muslims_rebuttal.htm
is not a anti-islamic site.
Too bad you don't know where Dan C. got the quote.
Neither do I, but I understand that all the verses from the different sites make the same point.
All the verses from the different sites are from the koran/quran.
I believe that many of us "caught it"- That the Final Crusade commenced September 11, 2001 anno Domini.
Coyotes, maybe?

His answer was classic Schwartzkopf.
The General said,"I believe that forgiving them is God's function. OUR job is to arrange the meeting.

I'm with the General!
sometimes I wonder if it isn't unfair to animals to compare them with arabs...
I apologize to all coyotes everywhere.
Saturday bump.
