As to your general thesis, no American president will ever authorize nuclear release authority unless a terrorist WMD can be publically and specifically traced to an actual foreign government who provided the direct logistical support.

 

To even suggest we would use a nuclear weapon is just about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. We have gone to great pains to spare civilian lives in this war on terror. American lives have been lost because of this practice. It would be much easier to just cluster bomb a city block than root out a couple of insurgents, but then we would be no better than those that oppose freedom and the war against terror.

 

Obviously the author of this thread has no idea what he/she is talking about. This will never be an option. How in the world could anyone come to the conclusion a whole city should be wiped off the face of the planet because of an one individual and his followers of fanatical lunacy.

 

Suggestions such as this are counter productive and serve no useful purpose. This thread should be flushed down the commode!

Force the general population of middle east muzzies to stare directly down the gun barrel of utter annihilation and suddenly the whacked-out leaders (that think every man, woman, and child in their nation, religion, etc. will offer themselves on the alter of slaughter) will find out that they stand by themselves, all alone while the remaining general population will declare their personal innocence and say that they couldn't speak out for fear of their own lives.

They can't even fight amongst themselves without switching sides the second that they perceive that the side they are fighting on might be losing. Signore -- I still maintain that if we get nuked and we don't respond in kind, the population of this country is going to FREAK F*CKING OUT and calls for calm, or understanding, and holding back are going to fall on deaf ears as people rush the stores for the food and medicines that they are no longer sure that money will buy in the future. And they are not necessarily going to buy into the authority of the police by that point.

In other words, if the balloon goes up, the social compact is OFF, and if the government tries to spin it with doubletalk, they are likely to be viewed as illegitimat poseurs, which they largely are anyway.

Look for people to start settling social, economic and political scores in the ensuing chaos. Border towns maybe be forced to turn back refugees, while refugees may start shooting to escape the affected areas. City dwellers will raid suruban kitchens while suburban gypies in SUV's will invade the hinterlands both to escape and find food, and you think all those armed farmers will wecome the interlopers with open arms?

Okay...I've gotten about half way through your list and paused to ask (with regard to the 1st half), are you equating Taquinas post asserting "Immigration is for 21st century America what civil rights were in the 20th century. Both were intentional with the intent to destroy our Christian way of life and culture." with the posts you listed that discuss MILITARY RETALIATION and DEFENSE? So, you're equating the outlawing of things like a "whites only" waterfountain sign and a "no mexicans (even American hispanics)" sign at a cafe with retaliation for an act of war, such as a suitcase nuke or a 9-11 strike, on the United States?
