I am asking an honest question: will destroying Mecca take the wind out of their sails, or embolden them? I don't know the answer - and I don't have any Muslim friends to ask, either.

As for your question, it will make us a tiny bit weaker, from the loss of those in the nuked city, but the rest will be made a thousand times more pissed off. So the net result for them would be very, very bad. I am a libertarian, and things like religious freedom are important to me, but Islam is one inch away from being considered an irrevocable terrorist pact as far as I'm concerned. If that inch manages to get traversed, I'm done with it being a "religion" and will join calls for its followers to be expelled or killed. No one has yet given me satisfactory answers to questions about al-Taqiyya, that is, dissimulation to infidels. If they're just lying to us, I want them gone - at the very least from America.

Islam and the Islamics in general respect and fear complete power and those willing to use it. Otherwise explain how Israel with almost 1 million islamics living there does not have a suicide bomb going off every 40 minutes. If 1% were suicide bombers there would be 10,000 or 1 bomber going off every 40 minutes or so in Israel.

It doesn't happen there every 40 minutes because they are afraid. They know what will happen and know Israel has shown they will use power when necessary. They will get the one who does it and they will get his families worldly possessions. Destroy their homes, cars, businesses. In other words totally cripple them.

The Islamics as a whole are cowards, that is why our troops are not facing daily waves of suicide hordes. Only the crazies will stand up to a fight.. and they die. They are cowards and the crazies support darwins law.

That is why they are now attacking other muslims... easy targets who basically don't fight back. If we took out a city or two the rest would get the idea.

Japan was ready to fight to the last man. Farmers fighting with rakes and such. It took the reality of the horror of nuclear destruction to change their minds. I'm sure a few were emboldened but the truth was undeniable.
