I was at Oshkosh on Friday. Rutan and the rocket pilot were standing right next to Space Ship One and its carrier. Plus, Global Explorer was across the tarmac. The air show had the wonderful AeroShell team and several other great single acts. The fly overs had so many planes in the sky, it looked like a disturbed wasp nest.

Oshkosh is a great air show. Sun and Fun near Tampa is good too.

I flew in on Friday in my 310. My son, and grandson set up camp on end of row 523 next to runway 9/270 and watched everyone arrive. We were at the end of runway 9 when an RV 6 came in too slow and stalled about 10 feet above runway 9, dropped a wing and broke off the nose gear, skidded across the runway and flipped over. Thankfully only bruises and cuts. Most damage to pride.

We survived the great storm(we were camped by the plane).
