Anyone else ever hear that when Europeans first encountered the Mandan tribe, the Mandan were discovered to have blue eyes and could converse easily with the Welsh speakers in the European group? Gee, I'm learning so much on this thread....What's the "Mandan" tribe?

"Gee, I'm learning so much on this thread....What's the "Mandan" tribe?" Read my link in post #30. These Welsh folks (when-ever they came) are the ones who are suppose to have become the Mandans.
There is a plaque (at Ft Morgan) here at the entrance of Mobile Bay commerating the arrival of Prince Madoc. He/they are reputed to have landed here in 1170AD and made their way up through Tenneessee, etc.
