I hope she gets a rabies shot ASAP. I think that is the reason they trapped the bat -- so they could test it. A tetanus shot wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Definitely. Bat bites can be undetectable. A Jersey man carried a couple bats out of his house, wearing gloves, a few years back, and died of rabies. A bat that acted like that, I would get the rabies shots even if it tested negative.

No you don't. Rabies shots are painful. They caught the bat and tested it and fortunately she doesn't need one.
