Hello young lady. Here in east Texas it is hot. We hit 99 today, but that was because of he cloud cover. It is very humid. We have been bailing hay and putting it in the barn. We got about 160 rolls put in the barn today. Then we got the fields fertilized and in 28 days, here we go again. That is if it rains and the grass grows. I don't know if it will ever rain again.
Finally the aquatic weeds in the big lake have died and it looks nice now. We had a big weed bloom in the lake. I sprayed it with 2,-4,D herbicide and it did the trick.
That is pretty much it. We are pretty boring down here. Wrote a few songs past 2 or 3 weeks.

Whoa! You guys in east Texas are much hotter right now than we are here in the desert of West Texas. I think it only got up to 92* today here. Almost pleasant!
Good to hear that you have written some more songs. I have just about worn these CDs out! I played them on a long drive we took to Oklahoma City, and I just knew my hubby, who hates country songs, was gonna scream! When I asked him how he liked your work, he said they were way better than George Strait--so see? You should just market your own work! He liked that your vocals weren't "twangy". That is a huge compliment from him!
Glad you took a break from all those chores to drop in and sit a spell!
