It was much quieter at Campo this weekend. It seems the incident involving an aide to Senator Bill Morrow's last weekend spurred the San Diego sheriff into action and they were out in force.
Despite hreats, a local LA gang did not appear . There was reportedly one shooting, durring a drug exchange at a border fence.

Priceless......that it is...
Get thee hence to this thread.
Thanks for the pics. This isn't just a border state issue anymore either. Here is an article from an Alabama newspaper about the growing problem of illegal immigration.

We've been talking over the last two weeks about the barricades being put up along the Arizona/Mexico border in the National Parks and Monuments. They are pictured above, the criss-crossed railroad rails that are intended to stop cross-border vehicular traffic.
Only if they're deeply set in concrete...
Right on Travis.

Me, too, exactly what janetgreen wrote!
I really enjoyed these photos...more when/if they become avaiable, if at all possible.
More people should see the moment-to-moment peacefulness of these groups. What the mainstream media "reports" is only near-rioting individuals among otherwise peaceful people...and the "near rioting" seems to be being done by those protesting border security and immigration requirements, not the contrary. Thus, they get the mainstream press attention, while peaceful citizens are ignored.
What a beautiful, poignant photo.
