Exactly, they looked into the adoption records in hopes of finding something on Roberts - a fishing expedition.
According to Britt Hume tonight on Fox, he spoke personally to an attorney the Times tried to hire to have the records unsealed. That's a bit more than looking into them, IMO.
Don't know where I heard this but someone said that conservatives had short memories and this would just blow over.
