I've been an organized crime antagonist for many years. My early personal experience led me to the conclusion that organized criminal organizations could not thrive without the support of the local community, local police and local politicians.

From what I've seen MS-13 has no local, support, they exist solely by raw brutality and their stockpile of cocaine just south of the border.

Now that attention has been focused on them I doubt that they will last long.

But the anti-immigrant crowd isn't helping by insisting that people who inform on MS-13 be locked up in the same detention facility with them.
