''Runaway Bride'' Ready to Tie the Knot

Word out of Duluth, Georgia is that runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks is ready to take the plunge with her fiancé, John Mason, 3½ months after wedding-day jitters prompted her to skip town and claim she was abducted.

The two have reportedly registered at Pottery Barn. The registry lists things like dining room furniture, a desk and some wine glasses, but shoppers say that's not what Wilbanks really needs:

"How about a mirror to take a look at herself?"

"A suitcase."

"A ball and chain to tie her to the room when he comes in."

"She should be registered at Athlete's Foot, right? Have sneakers!"

Wilbanks fled her fractured fairy tale wedding in April, attracting worldwide ridicule. Still, people say, they're hoping for a happy ending.

If she was serious they would elope, e.g., take him along next time.

...runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks is ready to take the plunge with her fiancé, John Mason...

I cannot imagine why a sane person would give a damn about anything this dizzy broad does or does not do.

Well, if I were a cheating lying thieving woman, the guy is just who I would pick if I needed a husband. They are like made for each other.

That said, I believe Jenn has reformed. I believe the hulk adores her lying little self. And I think they will live happily ever after with the occasional trip to the marriage counselor and brief stays at the local asylum.

I mean, don't yall know! Marriage is not perfect bliss!

Yes, she admitted that she'd had them done. She also had some sort of procedure done on her face, hence, the "bug eye" look.

LOL,,the first dance song for sure.

I love this story. I loved it even when I knew Jenn was more seriously deranged than just a nervous bride. I love it that they are getting married and are going to have little bug eyed hulky babies.

Even nutty law breaking lying girls and dumb guys need husbands and wives. I mean, is marriage reserved for the perfect or nearly so. Don't yall really believe the mperfect need it too. It is sort of like religion. Are only the really good people allowed in Church or are sinners, bad sinners, needed at church.

I wish these two well and really hope they make it.

Which part did you hear is not true? That she's going through with the wedding, or that she's registered and people are leaving their own gift suggestions?

Marriages need a sound foundation, what kind of a foundation does this one have assuming you get this woman to the altar?

quicksand foundation?

LOL. That's how my wife and I did it 32 years ago. Her father was happy at avoiding all the costs of the wedding having had five girls........ but ........... mom-in-law wasn't too thrilled.

;-)

Her eyes looked perfectly normal in a picture that I have seen of her when she was a little younger .............say about 16. She was adorable............ a very sweet and curious face. She should have left her face alone!
