It seems to me in addition to the cost of fuel, [is OPEC in cahoots with terrorists?] that if they start causing these trucks to wreck we are in big trouble.

While I have no doubt that OPEC is in cahoots with terrorists,a quick perusal of SEC filings by the major oil companies reveals that the increased cost of fuel is going straight to their bottom line. Over the last several years, these companies have voluntarily cut refinery output to drive up profits.
