It's just plain strange; I can hardly imagine it's true.

But in our local paper, although the language was different and it didn't mention an expiration of the Civil Rights Law, the front page story was concern about minority voting rights.

I'm wondering if this is going to be a new talking point, complete with lies, of course. The left has gotten away with lying for 40 years that Republicans were opposed to the Civil Rights Act, despite the fact that more Republicans voted for it than democrats.
