As you seem to be Vietnamese and speaking as if you have American citizenship you are entitled to an opinion.

Your perspective of the US "losing to Vietnam" with Chinese help is a bit distorted in my opinion.

While the outcome was a unified Vietnam with North Vietnamese control, it was only acheived because we pulled out of the country and left it to the South Vietnamese coward/retreat specialists to fight.

If our politicians had have allowed the military to fight as they are allowed to now then the DMZ would now be the Yellow River. JMO

You're no fun when you're serious.

:)

The Vietnam war is the energizer bunny war. It keeps on tickin'.

All I know is that I was there the entire year of 67 and we were winnning when I left. When I got back there in October of 69, I couldn't tell what had happened. A few things in 68, I guess.

Seriousness is like gas....sometimes it just slips out and embarrasses me.

Actually those "coward/retreat" specialists did pretty well for a couple of years, until the US Congress, manned (if you can call it that) by the minions of the left, and fueled by the MSM, cut off their supplies. Hard to fight when you are low or running out of ammunition, including small arms, artillery shells, and even bombs.

There might be a grain of truth in what you say though, the ARVN was trained to fight in the US manner, and that takes lots of firepower, which they no longer had. They might have been better off fighting a different style of battle. However the invasion that finished the war was a full boogie combined arms affair. The NVA used tanks, mobile artillery and AAA. Their offensive would have made Rommel, Zhukov, or Paton proud. Hard to fight that sort of thing anyway but with full conventional firepower.

You got that right! Funny that today, Nixon resigned because of the MSM and one of the MSM leaders of the antiwar movemnt passed away.
