Even with Joran being advised by Paulus from the beginning to shut up, he talked anyway. Joran told many stories in the beginning, then he went silent. What finally made Joran go silent?
Did Joran and Paulus become too beholding to others who helped to hide the original crime?
Has the heat from the publicity caused these 'others' to demand Joran's silence to prevent their implication in a cover up?

There was a rumor, and it may only be that, that Joran had asked some dope sellers had actually been the ones to kill Natalee with drugs and that he has been threatened by them, saying they would kill him and his family. I don't know how true it is. Could be a National Enquirer piece.
