SPACE CENTER, Houston - NASA ordered space shuttle Discovery to put off its landing early Monday by at least 90 minutes because of low clouds over Cape Canaveral.
The seven astronauts were advised to try for the second opportunity at 6:21 a.m. EDT in hopes the sky would clear.

If the second FL opportunity is scrubbed, then they will land at Edwards AFB probably around early sunrise California time.

That's not what NASA is saying. If the 2nd landing is scrubbed, that's it until Tuesday.

Ahh, OK. I'm not near a TV, and I get NASA TV on my satellite system. Makes sense that they would try again on Tuesday, otherwise they would have to ship the Shuttle back to Florida. Looks like the next landing opportunity will be at 6:22am ET.

A launch or landing would be cool to witness first hand. :)

There is no joy with Edwards AFB. It's either Tampa at 0522 hours or abort.

Fox News has the time slot designated for "Space Shuttle Landing" but if you have broadband, you can also get live NASA TV feed from www.nasa.gov.
Have it on in the background right now. Pretty good feed.
Don't know if I'll be awake at 0630, but I tried.

It's neither Tampa or Edwards. Tampa is on the Gulf side of FL, and the Cape is on the Atlantic side.

This is crap.
Nasa is trying to evoke the memories
of classic-era launch delays, and the like.
