Her thinking is that if she does well against Hillary Clinton then she still has a life after the election," said the source. "Run and lose against Hillary, get 40 percent or so, and you're still a star. But if she runs for attorney general and loses, she has nothing in the future."

Loser.

Insiders said Pirro was also being urged to run for the Senate by several of Pataki's political consultants, who stand to collect large fees from such a contest.

Losers.

If we're gonna lose to Hillary, might as well nominate someone with at least some tiny shreds of conservative principle, doncha think???

At minimum, we want someone to bang up PIAPS pretty good and force her further to the left... will hurt her presidential ambitions.

i am of two schools of thought on that one with multiple parts but am leaning towards Pirro running as a good thing. NY being a blue state at least Pirro has a Chance of winning albeit a slim one. Running a real conservative basically eliminates that slim chance unless hillary is caught eating babies or something. Pirro can raise her profile and possibly win another statewide race later on. Her running reduces the "gender factor" as well and may give Hillary enough of a fight to force that witch to show her true colors to the rest of the population. Overall i think this is a good thing.
