The reason these kinds of sites are being considered is due to citizen (taxpayer) complaints.

Unions are against them because they take work away from members ($20-$50/hr) and steer them toward the day laborers ($7-$15/hr).

Hmmm. I wonder how much effect the day laborers have had on the decline of union membership and power.

The reason they are being considered is because we have a bunch of do nothing spineless representatives in office who are afraid of their own shadow. So, they sit around all day thinking how they can appear to be doing a great job, while in reality not doing anything at all until pension time, or until they have stripped enough wealth from everyone that they don't need it anymore....
