Pearl Harbors, on the other hand, are perfectly acceptable. Hey - they didn't mention Tokyos or Dresdens...think how many incendiaries a B-52 can carry! And those firebombings killed more than the atomic attacks, combined!

I was born and raised in Los Alamos, and worked various security jobs at LANL for years.
What these hammerheads do is gather at a park in the middle of town, get good and primed (reefer, booze, socialist rhetoric, and who knows what else) for a short march across the bridge to the Lab where a line is strung across the parking lot. When they step across the line (intentionally), they are "detained".
You can see, hear, and almost smell them coming clear across town. The collective stench of 2 or 3 hundred unwashed, hairly-legged, patchoulli-drenched faux euro-hippies is an almost physical force. Just for fun, we generally salted the crowd w/undercovers.
The last time I remember Martin Sheen coming to town to be arrested was either 1999 or 2000. A couple of buddies that I had worked with on the Protective Force escorted him to the "detainee bus" once he stepped across the line (really just a futile, symbolic gesture at best), later told me that Sheen was so drunk he could hardly stand up by himself.
At least they don't have to deal with the protester that goes to the Nevada Test Site and strips, then covers his naked body with dog crap before they arrest him.

Will we see Martin Sheen, Mike Ferrel or any other peace-niks there protesting? Short answer is,drum roll please,no.Why?Because to libs capitalism is evil so anything that proclaims themselves an enemy to us is the lessor of evils and thus worthy of their support or at a minimum the attempt to ignore the threat that it presents to our security.

I watched an excellent show the other night about the invasion of Japan. The show discussed dropping a nuke as opposed to the planned invasion of Japan. One statement made during the show knocked me over. The statement was made that the Purple Hearts we have been issuing since WWII were ALL manufactured for the invasion of Japan. Think about that.
