“We are not anti-gun, anti-hunter or anti-NRA,” Green Bay Police Chief Craig Van Schyndle said at a press event held by WAVE at the Brown County Courthouse in Green Bay. “This is an officer-safety issue and a community-safety issue. Green Bay, Appleton and Brown County are very safe communities, and concealed carry is a very dangerous proposition.”

He then went on to say that, while citizens of other localities were by and large intelligent, his citizens were so stupid that they would shoot themselves loading their guns, or, if threatened, would empty their guns at the slightest provocation, killing both police and innocent bystanders in huge numbers. "Our streets will be clogged with funerals if this law passes!!" (/sarcasm)
