Ok I was made a fool of....But (Butt Monkey) The wacky left has been saying thinks like this for five years....I ask for a thousand pardons.....

I didn't realize the article was satire until the end of the third paragraph. It was plausible until then. That's how badly slanted the MSM is today.

It's hard to tell this is satire, as satire is usually far fetched.

The terrorists in Iraq have defeated the press. They no longer have the will to resist. The press is dragging the moderate and liberal politicians down with them. The public is being programmed by both to accept defeat also...
Like Vietnam we will not be defeated militarily. We are being defeated psychologically by a media that thrives on perceptions of bad news... Constant bad news makes the population skeptical and we are losing the will to fight for someone else like the Iraqis...
George W. Bush needs to sit down in the Lincoln Bedroom and have a conversation with himself and the spirit (ghost?) of Abraham Lincoln. A lot is at stake in this fight and few are willing to publicly help him face the burden.
"The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it NOW deserves the love and thanks of man and woman." Thomas Paine
The crisis will come next year as we approach the off-year elections. The terrorist know it and will go all out to influence us so they can have their way. I only hope President Bush has the strength and courage to do the right thing.

I think it's funny that most people who fell for this were saying "Did McCain really say that?" while at the same time being completely willing to accept what Kerry said. Says alot about Kerry!

This is satire however Sen. McCain is the author of McCain-Feingold and thus does not believe in freedom of speech. While I am involved with the GOP he will never be president.

You're right. After reading the full article I realized it had to be satire, but it says a lot about McCain that you really have to read on to be certain.
To: Happy2BMe
Satire, LOL, I was getting worried at first.

I just know Rush Limbaugh better keep his mouth shut on this protest, fired Sen. John McCain, R-AZ.Great jumpin' Jehosophat.
I think Sen. McKeating...er, McCain's finally lost it.
I'll bet Limbaugh has some fun with this...
