Recommended for small children is hiding a tablet in a ball of soft bread and giving it to them with lots of KoolAid or juice so they can swallow the thing whole (tablets are pretty small, like a Sudafed tablet).

Oil prices aren't going up because the Saudis are gouging us, they're going up because they don't have the capacity to pump enough to stem the demand coming from China, and Venezuela is a mess.

BTW, we currently live "just down the road a piece" from one of the nuclear power plants that keeps appearing on the threat lists. Boy Scout motto is "Be Prepared." My motto is "Better Safe Than Sorry." ;o)
I would hope we have a lopsided kill ratio since we spend buku dollars on training and weaponry while we are fighting killers with little or no training, advanced weapons or armour.

I think he/she was referring to the end of the world types who thought we would be reduced to living like people did in the 1800's.
I know some who were convinced the world as we knew it would be ending.
Yes a lot of hard work went into fixing potential problems but I don't think even if the worst had happened it would have been as bad as the hardcore Y2K fearmongers predicted.
Well I heard about 3-4 weeks ago that intelligence is saying multiple nuke attack within 90 days.
I am not laughing it off but realize there isn't much to do but pray.
Well that's definitely an extenuating circumstance! Sabotaging a nuclear power plant could occur with a light plane filled with explosives...
Hopefully we will learn the lessons the UK seems to have learned, adopt our way of life, our values or leave.

Now that is my kind of preparation. If it does hit that fan I'll be sure to look you up for some trade.
We live in an area where hurricanes and icestorms have been known to create problems. We have a few things on hand in preparation for ice or hurricanes, so I guess we are prepared for a nuclear event. At least in terms of food and toilet paper.
