That is right and Vacco listened to the other moderate GOPers in 1998 when he refused the Right to Life line. Vacco lost that election by less than the total Right to Life vote.
The "moderate GOPers" that Vacco listened to was the conservative Alfonse D'Amato. And Vacco did run on the Conservative Party Line. And previously you mentioned John Faso, who was not even the Right-to-Life party candidate for Comptroller.
As for Rudy, your ignorance is stunning. As someone who was there in the rooms, Rudy wasn't going to get the Conservative Party line. No how about refuting what I am telling you no pro-life conservative GOP candidate has garnered less than 47%. Brush up on NYS politics.
Your lack of reading comprehension is stunning. I didn't say Rudy was going to get the Conservative Party line, I said that whether he got it or not wasn't his basis for running or not running. Since you were "there in the rooms," I assume you must have some standing with the Conservative Party and therefore must pump up its importance. So let me repeat: The Conservative Party in New York State is for sale to the highest bidder. It is a joke to consider its endorsement as recognition of an actual conservative candidate. This is the state that coined the term "Rockefeller Republican." Even if I was to grant that running for governor for the first time in 1994, Pataki was a conservative, that would be the last year that any "pro-life conservative" won a statewide office in New York.

How the hell are you a Republican? Hey! Lighten up Geraldine.
It's just part of the "dimes worth of difference" program.
BTW, Pirro's just getting all of the media attention (from across the spectrum) because her primary opponent is the son-in-law of the hated Dick Nixon.

www.spencerforsenate.com Thanks, friend.
I'll post it again. He sounds great to me.
I've volunteered for Blackwell out here. We must stop settling for RINO's, as many on this thread seem determined to do. ;-(

Pirro can be Hillary. Spencer cannot. <<
Interesting freudian slip there. I think she can be another Hillary too. ;-)
Anyway, you Pirro kool-aid drinkers can repeat "pirro can beat hillary" until you're blue in the face, but since you don't have ONE shread of evidence to prove your point, we have no reason to throw a great conservative overboard in favor of hilliary lite.
I have no problem admitting it when a "moderate" has a good shot at winning. Congresswoman Capito CAN beat KKK Byrd because the numbers and the money and the support ARE there. You can dream all you want that sime obscure RINO D.A. will come out of nowhere and "beat Hillary", that won't make it happen. Right now, Pirro would be lucky to break 35% against Hilderbeast, and her "credentials" pales compared to a decorated vietnam war ver who was twice elected mayor of the 4th largest city in New York.
"Pirro can beat hillary" is NOTHING more than wishful thinking on you part. I will not lynch a great consevative in the primary on such a premise. Might as well sell arms to Monaco on the off-chance they will "beat France" in a war.

If Pirro runs, watch Hillary drop out of the race and run for President.
She will be a weaker candidate as a one-term Senator who couldn't handle a reelection campaign.

Yeah, yeah, Hillary is going to drop out from "fear" of running against an obscure RINO D.A., just like how Arnold will magically "deliver" Calfornia to Bush, Bill Jones, the Republicans in the General Assembly, etc., etc.
I'd love to place a wager with you on that one since the "RINOs are our saviors" crowd never get called to task after their "predictions" fall flat again and again on these boards. Over and over they just keep repeating the same pie-in-the-sky rhetoric. I'm still waiting for the people who shoved Arlen Specter down our throats to admit they wrong.
I'd gladly wager $100 with any Pirro worshipper that their RINO icon will not get above 40% if nominated against the Hilderbeast
