But I also know that many of the Mexican/Central American illegal immigrants are devout Catholics, and therefore (by your lights) equally deserving of the "Christian Exemption" you would like to grant your Korean lady friend (or maybe in your Fundamentalist zeal you don't recognize Catholics as "real born-agin Christians").

Wipe the froth off your mouth.

I'm not signin in from the back of a punkin wagon, you dolt. I'm well aware that most Mexicans are Catholic (as am I). And I am not by any means TOTALLY opposed to immigration from Mexico (but let's be real!).

This woman has TWENTY years of good citizenship and service to her church and Christian school and a son that shows every indication of being a superlative asset to our nation.

So, KMA, and stop buggin me with your irrelevant ranting.

I have to admit it, you're a real piece of work. In your first reply you imply that I'm Satan ("your name is legion"), in your most recent reply you call me a "dolt" and instruct me to "KYA", all while asking me to "wipe the froth" off my mouth. In your quest to become the FR version of Don Rickles, Andrew Dice Clay and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, however, the one thing you never bothered to do was to address the substance of my comments, to whit: if you're going to have a rational immigration policy, you can't reward law-breaking by retroactively granting immunity through "exceptions to policy", even when the individual concerned has "TWENTY years of good citizenship and service to her church and Christian school and a son..." etc., etc. By the by, I'd like for you to explain to me how someone who entered our country illegally, and by every definition known to man is not, and can not be considered a "citizen", practices "good citizenship". To those great paradoxes of life, like "gay marriage" or "conservative Communist", you have now added, "illegal alien good citizen". If we started granting exemptions to our laws for illegal aliens who are said to be "credits" to their respective communities, we might see a lower crime rate amongst illegals, but we will definitely never stem the tide of illegal immigration.
