DaVinci online has white chocolate syrup.
So has Torani online.
Very inexpensive---lasts for ages.
You don't even need the w/c syrup with my decadent recipe.
WHITE CHOCOLATE CAPPUCCINO
Steam in glass mug in microwave four minutes: 3/4 c milk, block white chocolate bark. Add tea instant decaf coffee powder, 1/2 tea instant espresso powder, drop of real vanilla, or use vanilla syrup, sweetener. Blender carefully (no cover, just hold towel over blender top), then serve. Delicious.
Starbuck was the dashing, rogue, Harrison Ford clone fighter pilot in Battlestar Galactica.
Sometimes you want a coffee on the run. The Starbucks where I get my coffee offers one free drink after ten purchases. Mine's a small stand in a local supermarket...
Also formerly a Star Bucks fan, now boycotting. Tim Horton's, baby!
A tall latte isn't $4.00. If you get a grande or are a total pig and get a venti, you'll get nailed though. I don't need or want a super jumbo coffee. I'll save that money and spend it on a Slurpee instead. :)
Chai lovers can buy the same Tazo mix used at Starbuck's at some grocery stores. Much cheaper to mix with our own milk!! I love the Tazo stuff but hate the Oregon Chai (icky, icky!).
As well as a character in "Moby Dick".
I assume he meant the consumer could make it himself at home for .50, thus saving 3.50.
Oh I hear you on that! My local Target has a Starbucks right near the checkout. It smells wonderful and I always crave it, but if I wait 10 minutes I can make it at home.
LOL. This gal sound nothing like a conservative.
Starbuck was also one of the main characters in the original Battlestar Galactica.
But before he was either, he was first mate of the whaler "Pequod" (Moby Dick)
"What else did you expect from a yuppie, intellectual atmosphere and overpriced coffee?"
I don't know what Starbucks you're frequenting, but I've been to a number of Barnes&Nobles across the midwest where I'll go in for a Starbucks coffee and maybe a magazine or two and the people I've seen in the book stores look pretty nondescript. What does an "intellectual" look like anyway?
I was in a Starbuck's kiosk at a toll-plaza; the whole plaza was insanely crowded with July travelers, families, old people, young people, the chaos and energy were fantastic...some were in line getting a coffee, others were getting buckets of greasy chicken. I couldn't discern any subset of people at the Starbucks line; they all seemed pretty normal to me....regular people traveling across America looking for their coffee buzz.
Not to pile on Starbucks, but my uncle (who was a marine) sent me this. Looks like Starbucks hates children and our military. I'm surprised I haven't choked on their wicked brew!
BAD MOVE STARBUCKS!!!
Starbucks Coffee
Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because
they wanted to let them know how much they liked their
coffees and to request that they send some of it to
the troops there.
Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for
their support in their business, but that Starbucks
does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that
they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, we should not support
them by buying any of their products. As a war vet
writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this
out in the open.
I know this war might not be very popular with some folks,
but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the
ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house for
what they and I believe is right.
If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or
you can discard it and no one will never know. Thanks
very much for your support of me, and I know you'll all
be there again when I deploy once more.

I recently got turned onto this Blueberry coffee the other day at my local quick mart. At first I thought, "Blueberry coffee? That sounds N A S T Y!" But the older gentleman who was "workin'" the coffee bar suggested I try a sample. It knocked my socks off. Like drinking coffee and eating a blueberry muffin AT THE SAME TIME!
On the other hand, many moons ago when I was in college, I stopped in a little coffee shop off campus on my way home. I ordered up a Chocolate Raspberry concoction. By the time I got home, I felt physically ill. Then I "lost" my coffee altogether. TO this day, I can't deal with even the smell of chocolate raspberry coffee blends because it takes me right back to that day.
Also, Gulliver's Coffee has a Pumpkin Spice Cappucino that you can get at convenience stores. Like drinking pumpkin pie. To die for.
Did you verify this through Snopes?
Oh, I drink generally Whole Foods coffee at home. I know, I know, tres liberal, but they have all fair trade beans, it's relatively inexpensive, and roasted on the spot.
My problem now is we have Starbucks at work, which is great, but wrong. Academic environment too... people are likely to cheer if I tried to explain about Starbucks and the homos.
Yeah, that too.
