"The anti-Bush anti-GOP hysteria spewed by a tiny minority of posters on FR has reached unprecedented high levels this year."

Pointing out the faults of current policies is not "Anti-Bush", it is Pro-American. What is wrong with that? What is wrong with being Pro-American? Some folks speak of the GOP, Bush, Kerry, whatever.....but they hesitate to speak up in defense of out Constitutional Republic.

Here's a flash! Elected Presidents are not to be confused with the Messiah.......and can seldom be said to be doing the "Lord's work."

There are some good points in this article.

However, the title, The New GOP Betrays America plays right into the hands of the leftists.

Is Bush an ideal Republican? No, of course not. Is he better than the alternative? Absolutely! Why else is the "mainstream" media squealing so loudly and grasping at every little straw to discredit him? An abortion is far more difficult to perform today than it was during the Carter administration, thanks to the moral guidance of Presidents Reagan and W. I loathe his inaction on illegal immigration from Mexico but inflammatory titles such as this one give aid and comfort to the enemy within our borders.

Here is what a malicious bastard can do by paraphrasing (like the New York Slimes):

The New GOP Betrays America

The biblical truth "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" described my state of mind on July 27, 2005. The hope some of us placed in Republicans was misplaced.

House and Senate Republicans have sold out on almost everything else that really matters. Call it what you will: amnesia, Alzheimer's or asininity – to be a conservative Republican, you must consistently forget the past, and be consistently condemned to repeat it.

The New GOP does not believe in limited government. It will do nothing to strengthen and promote U.S. sovereignty or put America before its desire to create a global economic and political empire.

Do you get the drift? Working within the party to support an America First philosophy will gain far more traction on immigration than divisiveness, which will accomplish nothing more than to elect a Dem scumbag who will open the floodgates to perdition.
