Is anyone actually taking this bimbo seriously?

Can you say media induced frenzy? It's their job as the information division of the Dim party. Nothing more. Useful idiots like this Sheehan woman being moved around a game board is what this is about. Part and parcel of the Dim strategy to sling mud at all things Republican.

Exactly so!

These are all very old tactics. They worked in the '70s, but they are NOT going to work now.

Please read more about Cindy, in her own words and those fed to her. The woman is a media whore, she isn't acting out from grief, and she is being sponsored by CODE PINK, Michael Moore, and probably a host of other lefties.

With every word and deed, she dishonors her dead son's memory.

........What she is doing will not bring him back and is actually making her appear to be a person obcessed with being on TV and in Newspaper and Magazine articles.

Because that is what she is.

LMAO, I read the thread title and wondered which of the usual suspects (ie., Democrat Party organs) published this column. The scumbag Houston Chronicle! Surprise, surprise!

You've pegged it.

I haven't watched Oprah for about 8 years and that was the MO that made me switch her off.

She's certainly enjoying all the coverage and personal publicity. The pictures look more and more like faked emotion.

I am starting to see the left as personified by such "self-centered, lying Moonbats like Cindy Sheehan," as a cancer on the body politics that opposes the notion that a country of the stature of the United States has a responsibility to the condition of mankind on this planet: self sacrifice for the legacy of freedom.

GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH!

O'Reilly had another mom on tonight who had lost her son. He was very empathetic, but in the end, she admitted:

a) her anti-Iraqi war sentiments were not the same as her son's

b) she felt that if sadham were so important, he should have been taken care of in the first Gulf War, or after Bin Laden and company were taken care of

c) she would now maybe blog on michael moore's web site, because she though maybe O'Reilly was putting words in mm's mouth

Either she's not really paying attention, or she'll be the next being taken advantage of.

I feel for both their losses, but I wish they had feelings for their sons that included the son's wishes and patriotism.

I just can't make that call. She just might be genuinely unhinged by her loss and the lies and distortions could be a product of her grief. I can't read her heart, but I can read her changing version of events and some of the lies she has told in promoting her views.

Those using her and promoting her have no such excuse. They are simply bottom feeding scum.

The Left has no understanding of sacrifice for a higher cause, it can only think in terms of personal loss and 'waste'. With their line of thinking we would all still be living as slaves under a monarchy.

All progress towards freedom has been won with blood, and yet at every turn they use that hard won freedom to dishonor those who bled for it.

Like I wrote before, I can't find it in myself to be angry at this mother - however much she is being manipulated she has lost her child and I think I'd go crazy with sadness at that too. She should be escorted from the premises and left to grieve in peace.

I've only watched Oprah once in my life...ONCE and that's because her little homo boy-toy arm candy decorator went to school with my daughter and so, we know him. I wanted to see how he'd changed, or not, in the years since. LOL

But that once was more than enough, for me to figure out how she would treat the media whore Cindy. After all, Oprah can NOT allow Cindy to spew that hard lefty stuff on her show. Opraph appears to just LOVE to see people cry and cry herself. That's what she did when Nate was on the show, after surviving the Tsunami. She rang out every ounce of bathos she could and then some.

Her simple, quiet protest

If that's what it is, I'd sure hate to see a complex, loud one

Do you think the operatives of the left are employing a psychological tactic to work these parents of children who sacrificed their lives to the terrorist fight? It seems so easy to work such vulnerable parents up with enough lies and set them loose ranting loudly about how they hate President Bush and the war effort. If this is true, we have the left and their tools, the press, sinking to the lowest to further their agenda.

I agree, though the only problem with the left's tactic is, the sons and daughters fighting this war weren't forced onto military trucks, handed a rifle and duffel bag against their will and drafted to serve Uncle Sam. Every single one of them volunteered, all-the-while knowing what may happen to them in the future in the event of a war.
