The deceptiveness of the NARAL ad is so blatant that the Web site Factcheck.org operated by the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania dispensed with its usual restrained nuanced language in assessing political ads.
Instead, the site says squarely, "The ad is false. [It] misleads when it says Roberts supported a clinic bomber."
That's about as clear-cut as any impartial third party can be in saying the truth: NARAL has crossed the line of political discourse and transparently lied about Roberts' position.
This has blown up in Naral's face but good!
