I know what you mean. I travel around quite a bit and from time to time I end up in states that do not honor our permit, New York in particular. I feel like I forgot to put on socks or something.
Here in Alabama we have been carrying ever since we have been a state I guess. The only "bloodbath" we have seen is from time to time we end up with a dead burglar.
