I got a similar email a few weeks ago.

I sent a copy to the spoof@paypal.com and asked them to let me know whether that was actually from Paypal.

I never got a response, so I assume it was a scam email.

I haven't logged into my Paypal account in ages.

Could everyone on FR send $10 to my Paypal account so I can log in and see if it is working?

I forward 2 or 3 spoofs every week, and always get a reply within minutes.

A good way to keep it current is to use your PayPal account once every quarter to donate to FreeRepublic during the Freepathons!

Send me all your CC numbers, DOB, current adddress, and DL #...so I will be sure that it's you.
