And as much fun as it is to call Democrats Communists, (I do it myself sometimes) there is a huge difference between Democratic Socialism (wich is what the left side of the Democratic Party practices) and Communism which advocates the elimination of private property.

Property rights went out the window years ago. You can test this for yourself...skip a years worth of property taxes...or try taking yourself off the power grid...or remodel your home without getting the dozens of permits you "need".

I know what you're saying, "absolute" property rights are gone.

But I am not going to say we are anywhere near the level of the old USSR.
