What Mrs. Parks did was noble and took the textbook definition of courage. What Mrs. Sheehan is doing is prolonging her 15 minutes of fame in the name of her fallen war hero son.

Cindy Sheehan and this whole tragic exploitation will be gone with Labor Day, and Pres. Bush's return to D.C.
And she is no Rosa Parks...the comparison is ridiculous.

Like I said in a couple of other posts. Cindy Sheehan is not fit to wipe Rosa Park's Shoes. Rosa Parks was a hero and a great lady. Cindy is a demented fool!

"And she is no Rosa Parks."
I believe the left is saying this because Cindy refused to sit in back of the "Impeach Bush Now" bus on the way down to Crawford? The front of the that bus is normally reserved for hard-core commies and those who gave financial support to Al Qaeda.

The only way she'd be anything like Rosa Parks would be if she were doing something the law said she couldn't which other people were allowed to do. What has she done that has risked arrest for violating a racist law that should have been abandoned? What has she done that is a risk? She's camped outside the President's private property--if she were to trespass, for example, that's just breaking the law, something no one can do. What is she being preveneted from doing because of her gender, race, etc? Nothing.
She's compared with Rosa Parks because the pathetic DU leeches living off her for their own purposes need to ennoble themselves, like they're involved in some great cause, when they're merely in a political disagreement like a million others. She'd be like Rosa Parks if she repudiated them, because THAT would be the ultimate example of her being "out of place".

I think a more appropriate comparison for Sheehan would be with Tokyo Rose.

Reality check: The president is not going to change his entire foreign policy simply because your ENLISTED son was killed in Iraq.
You already met with the president once. Move along.

Please pardon the little typos. I'm writing this quickly, while fuming, at work. I'm fixing them as quickly as I find them.

I think the comparison is valid....Cindy Sheehan and Rosa Parks both got on a bus.......the only difference is, Cindy's bus is the short one!
To: bocopar
Cedric the Entertainer, the scholar...? Doesn't take a Mensa member to come up with one of his other lines: "F*** Jesse Jackson."

Not anything you did, Ms. Parks did something that needed to be done. She didn't lie about anything. This other woman is no hero, saint, or civil rights "martyr". All she did was disgrace her son.
