actually, war is good for a great many things.
for example: all current technological sophistication, including medicine, is derived from advances made possible/necessary by war.
only Kumbayaa-chanting lotus-eaters are so stupid as to fail to know this.
Well, maybe they could contribute to the war effort... You know, clearing mine fields and acting as bayonette practice dummies. Many already have experience as human shields!
