Starkly naked truth.
Which means nothing has changed except that the pullout will be perceived as a win for the terrorists.
I was hoping YOU'd explain that curiousity to ME?
You used up more words to explain what I was getting at---I didn't have that many left. You're exackly right. The Egypts lost their entire airforce for not staying on their side of the canal. The runt king of Jordan ditto his armor for crossing the river. The Syrias lost Golan heights for taking cheap shots and the Lebanons lost nearly their whole town and their tourist bidness for getting stupid. The Gazas that are left will have to swim the canal to get home after the strikes if they take cheap shots over the wall. This is all taking 50 years longer than it should have but it seems to me they are getting one good chance.
Remember the story a few months ago about the Gaza fishermen who were complaining they couldn't cruise far enough to fish to catch a full load because the Israeli patrols had them boxed in to 12( I think ) miles? Yassar's last shipment (about 40 tons) got intercepted and he died short on ammo. The Israelis do a great job checking what gets into Gaza so I gotta go with them in terms of keeping large qty's out of reach. There is some evidence the Egypts are also getting the idea.
I don't know the details of how GW's 50 mill will be managed but I'll trust that it will go to the housing that it is supposed to build----but here's the test: The money may not actually get spent since the Gazas don't have a track record of building anything but ratholes. We just have to wait to see if they perform but I got a cold case of anything you want to bet that this will be their last 50 mill if they don't.
