Cindy Sheehan Blasts Bush and U.S. Policy With Harsh Remarks August 14, 2005 12:18 p.m. EST

Crawford, Texas (AHN) - Cindy Sheehan aka "Mother Sheehan" to anti-war protesters currently lining a road that leads to President Bush's Crawford,Texas ranch, is calling the President out as well as U.S. policies which she says cost her son's life.
Sheehan's son was killed in Iraq by terrorist insurgents in April 2004. Sheehan had claimed until recently that the meeting with President Bush was disgraceful and that Bush acted like the meeting with grieving families was a big party.
An article uncovered from the Associated Press showed otherwise and featured Sheehan's remarks about the President in a more than kind light. Sheehan has since claimed she was overcome with grief and since has demanded a second meeting with the President.
But the tone Sheehan has taken on recently is now less about her son and more about the war and U.S. policies itself.
"That lying bastard, George Bush, is taking a five-week vacation in time of war," Sheehan tells the Veterans For Peace, Mike Ferner. "You get that maniac out here to talk with me in person. Bush needs to tell me why my son died in Iraq. I've got the whole month of August off, and so does he."
Sheehan has since taken up with many anti-war groups who have taken the opportunity to line side-by-side with the mother who plans to take the protest straight to the streets of Washington, D.C. when Bush returns after Labor Day.
"The other thing I want him to tell me is 'just what was the noble cause Casey died for?' Was it freedom and democracy? Bull---t! He died for oil. He died to make your friends richer. He died to expand American imperialism in the Middle East. We're not freer here, thanks to your PATRIOT Act. Iraq is not free. You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you'll stop the terrorism," she says.
"There, I used the 'I' word -- imperialism," the 48 year-old mother quipped. "And now I'm going to use another 'I' word impeachment because we cannot have these people pardoned. They need to be tried on war crimes and go to jail. I am not paying my taxes for 2004. You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a penny . . . you give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me for back taxes and we'll put this war on trial."
I think that it has a lot to do with his voluntary decision to enlist during a time of war. Now, shut the hell up and go away.

I would be surprised if this shrill, psycho, babbling lunatic did NOT blast Bush and US Policy. This broad is in dire need of an "I love me" jacket and a long stay in the quiet room.

at this point she has come completely unhinged, the more she talks, the less sympathy there will be for her.

Does Cindy pronounce it Ee-rock or I-rack? The pronunciation seems to vary by political persuasion (listen to NPR to find out which is which).

LOL!! No kidding--when did this woman magically become a policy expert to the degree that she gets quoted in newspapers? This is just too bizarre.
She is an embarrassment to her family and especially to her son. She is spitting on his grave.
At this point, there's only one thing for Cindy Sheehan to do that will satisfy me. Get lost. Frankly, go to hell.
This is excellent. The media will now abandon her publicity seeking venture. Even they will be embarrassed.
The Left is using a mentally unbalanced woman to further their agenda. They've also got Howard Dean.
The Republicans can make a good case that Liberals are taking unfair advantage of the mentally challenged.
Sometimes the best way to deal with a truly virulent nut is to let her screech her lungs out in public where everybody can hear her, start looking at her strangely, and, embarrased for her, turn away. That may well be happening to Cindy the Traitor. All we need to do now is start making some urinal posters of her.
And when August is over, youll go back to work, he'll go back to work, and people will forget they ever saw you.
