Care to elaborate on that comparison?

It's pretty obvious. You've got activists who have been soundly trounced through the political process trespassing in a closed military area to try to block implementation of a policy formed and ratified through said process.

It's not really treason but it could be called insurrection.

Try again.

Sharon campaigned AGAINST Mitzna's plan to do exactly this.

Then Sharon adopted the idea.

Likud held a vote of members - they voted against the disengagement. Sharon ignored it. He kicked out the members of his own cabinet who opposed it and were with the majority of Likud.
