"he would be the judge of men, and his son told everyone love thy enemy as you would love thyself."
More manipulation of the bible to lay guilt trips on Christians into a submissive state of mind. If the good countries of the world had "loved their enemy as they would have loved themselves" Jews would be extinct by now thanks to Hitler and we'd be speaking Japanese. Knowledge of WWII much?
p.s. radical muslims will never love so called infidels like you and me no matter what our lifestyle or sex orientation is. Get a clue hermit.
Community dark roast bump
Just had a big cup of CDM and made a big plate of beignets , heavy on the powdered sugar. If you're not awake after THAT, you're dead! -lol
Lived in NOLA in 1975-77, get community dark roast delivered up here. Cafe DuMonde bump.
I'm not a homosexual. I forgot, on FR, if you don't champion putting homos into camps, you must be one.
I just saw this "My only regret about being gay" cup yesterday. Not cool.
Looks like I won't be going to Starbutts anymore.
What would starbutts do if the customer asks for a different cup? Would they abandon "the customer is right" rule?
(/s)
So, let me ask you something.
Is it wrong for a Company, any Company, to put quotes, statements, or "advertisments" of their agenda on the cups or packaging?
Also, would you actively discourage all companies from doing it?
the are free to do so and I am free to not patronize them, not arange their businesses as a meeting place for gatherings with friends.
This is no different than when the dixie chix were dumped by lipton tea as a result of public objection.
Starbucks is a business, publicly traded business I believe. If they think promoting homosexuals is going to attract business they are free to try.
EVERYONE is free to discourage them from promoting homosexuality as a normal behavior. EVERYONE is free to see starbucks as a "gay" coffee shop and stay away too.
EVERYONE is free to assume any person with a starbucks in hand is a homosexual.
It is just a question of whether starbucks desires to make money. (I bet their homosexual quote cup is not being sold in the middle east)
I have no interest in going to Starbucks again. My husband was not pleased to see that the cup he was holding said "my one regret about being gay, etc."
I thought I would revise the #43 cup quote(below) -to how it should have read:
Original Starbuck's #43 "The way I see it"
My only regret about being gay is that I repressed it for so long. I surrendered my youth to the people I feared when I could have been out there loving someone. Dont make that mistake yourself. Lifes too [expletive] short.
My revision to #43 "I see the way"!
My only regret is having to pay unknowingly for someone elses unrepressed agenda. I surrendered my $2.00 to people I trusted when I should have been out there supporting someone else. Dont make that mistake yourself, I know I wont again! Lifes too [no-expletive] short, only when you dont believe in an afterlife
My pastors wife got one of those cups last week she said in Bible study and about died. I refuse to go to Starbucks any longer. I have gone in the past, but normally go to a local coffee stand and get the same thing for 1/2 the price without the homosexal message.
