CINDY SHEEHAN ALLIED WITH GROUPS THAT ENDORSE 'IRAQI RESISTANCE'
Monday, August 15, 2005 | Kristinn

Antiwar protester Cindy Sheehan who is camped in Crawford, Texas demanding a meeting with President Bush over the death of son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, in combat in Iraq has surrounded herself with groups that have endorsed the so-called Iraqi resistance.

Last June, groups opposed to the American-led war to depose the regime of Saddam Hussein gathered in Istanbul to hear testimony before a 'jury of conscience' on charges of war crimes and violations of international law by the United States.

Endorsers of the statement issued by the World Tribunal on Iraq at the end of the conference include Code Pink Women for Peace, United for Peace and Justice and Veterans for Peace; while not a named endorser, Tim Goodrich, co-founder of Iraq Veterans Against the War , testified before the tribunal against his country.

Representatives of these four groups have been at Sheehan's side since she arrived in Crawford August 5.

The lengthy statement issued by the tribunal contains several statements legitimizing the so-called Iraqi Resistance. One reads, "It is the brutality of the occupation that has provoked a strong armed resistance and certain acts of desperation. By the principles embodied in the UN Charter and in international law, the popular national resistance to the occupation is legitimate and justified. It deserves the support of people everywhere who care for justice and freedom."

Another statement by the tribunal denounces the January election in Iraq and the new constitution being constructed by the Iraqi parliament:"Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority. The recently concluded election, the Constituent Assembly, the current government, and the drafting committee for the Constitution are therefore all illegitimate."

Code Pink Women for Peace, United for Peace and Justice, Veterans for Peace and Iraq Veterans Against the War, despite what they tell the media in Crawford, are not peace groups. They have taken sides against America and stand with the terrorists killing American soldiers in Iraq. Cindy Sheehan, grieving mother of a fallen G.I., stands with those who stand with our enemies.

"Is Code-Pinko a 501c3?"

Yes, Fudd Fan. Yes.

Based on my investigation, "Code Pink" is a 501 (c) 3 organization and solicits tax deductible contributions.

Code Pink's tax exemption number is: 95-4658841

They could have their 501 (c) 3 status revoked, in addition to their directors being indicted and tried for RICO racketeering violations and/or conspiracy to commit felony. The crime they are committing is conspiracy to encourage the violation of the Cuban Assets Control Regulations of the U.S. Treasury Department. Additionally, it is my estimate that individual Code Pink (in alliance with Global Exchange) members who actually illegally travel to Havana, Cuba in the next few months, with the very implicit, publicly stated conscious intent of "challenging the law" are themselves, as individuals, each subject to the US Federal OFAC regulations, and each of them could be fined up to US $64,000 per incident of visit, in addition to having a felony criminal record.

My, now THAT would break the piggy bank (including funding for Ms. Sheehan's little Texas stakeout).

This insane woman has been caught in so many lies, most of which we in the "blog world" discovered with a little Googling. But the MSM refuses to hold her feet to the fire. They refuse to ask pointed questions, and when she answers their powderpuff questions misleadlingly or outright deceitfully - they say, "Oh. OK. Well, thanks very much."

It is incredible to watch how they trip all over themselves to assist her in her campaign of lies.

When people hear the name "Sheenan", they should think of Casey Sheenan, the patriot who lost his life in a war.

That's not what they're gong to remember. Instead, they're going to think "Oh yeah. That Islamofacist lover from Crawford who supported and celebrated her sons death. I remember her."

In other words, she killed her son.

Yep, pretty much, as well as all the other mothers sons.

"Cindy, why did you murder all those men?"

Maybe now we can leave Postal Workers alone; instead of using the term, "going postal" we can now say "going Cindy"...

She also has the support of the Nazi David Duke, according to his website

Oh good lord...

Do you ahve a problem with that?

So Swastika Boy supports Sheehan. No surprise there. What can I say? Birds of a feather...

While I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan on her loss, having worn the uniform myself, I deeply resent the way she is using her son's death for her own aims. It's a disgrace to his memory and the memory of all those other brave young people who gave their lives for this country. Yet Duke praises her for it.

This isn't even about whether you support or oppose the war. It's about respecting these brave young men and women.

Where did you get the idea that I oppose the war and/or don't respect our marvelous military? You obviously have never read any of my posts here or in the Canteen.

My revulsion was that Duke apparently is supportive of what she's doing. Was that unclear? Good lord.

Janeane Garafalo has said that it wasn't hip to protest Clinton. You will also find a few people that did protest both Presidents conflicts.

The difference is that the media never once gave a voice to the protesters of Bubba's wars, let alone even acknowledged they existed.

In other threads, feminists have been going on about how pitiful and surely insane the poor woman is assumed to be, calling the goddess of motherhood and the like.

Our nation is morally bankrupt and has been since the middle of the 1800s (regarding Susan B. Anthony's "Oh!" and "Lo!" statements for murdering chicks).

"One has to wonder just how she managed to raise such a fine son."

Obviously, his father had more to do with that.

To: tgslTakoma; All

I listened as long as I could to Alan Colmes radio show..and a little while ago he had a woman call from Dallas that said that she has been in Crawford all last week..

She said that she was driving the shuttle for the Cindy people, and that she saw very few counter-protestors, and that all the sites that say they had a lot are lying..

THEN she said she got an e-mail while she was on the phone with Alan that said that there is a "group" that has a hearing at 9:00 AM tomorrow morning at the McClennan Courthouse in Waco, that is being held to get an injunction against people gathering along that road to Bush's Crawford ranch, where Sheehan has set up Casey's Camp.

Anyway, she was HOT---saying of course the mean old Pres. would have this done....

I had to change the channel...couldn't take anymore...but it might be interesting to see what happens in the morning.

Sheehan did the RealVoices.org commercial in July of 2004, per the photos from the "Kick-off party" on her own webpage

SAVE THE PAGE, QUICK, before she yanks it like she did the Vacaville Reporter article, and the photos of her meeting with the president.

The party was on July 31, 2004. Unsure if the ads had already been recorded by that date...
