He has got to be kidding me. This clown sat there and let the 1993 WTC attacks happen, he let numerous other embassy attacks happen, and he STILL sat there and did nothing. Why should we sit there and believe that he would have magically taken Osama out after the USS Cole?
Well the first WTC bombing was the first year of Clinton's presidency. I don't know if he could have prevented that. But Bin Lauden continued to live in Saudi Arabia until 1996 so if there was any link Clinton knew about to the WTC bombing Bin Laudin was arrestable. Then the embassy bombings in 1998 were conclusively blamed on Al Quaeda but Clinton only sent a couple of missiles at training camps - he had plenty of reason and opportunity then.

He did attack Bin Laden, with a billion dollars worth of cruise missiles at an Al Qaeda training camp and an aspirin factory in Sudan, the exact same moment Lewinsky was testifying in front of a Grand Jury whether Clinton lied. Clinton's attack did little but to stir up the hornets nest without killing any of the hornets. 9/11 was payback for this botched attack.

Isn't there one reporter out there with enough nuggets to bring up the fact that Clinton let Bin Laden go? Hell, it's on tape, even.

On three,THREE separate occasions, Clinton was offered bin Laden on a platter. And three times he declined to take him; saying that there was "no legal/criminal precedent."

"Lucky though he was, Bill Clinton never had his shot at greatness. He could lower the jobless rate, balance the budget, and console us after the Oklahoma City bomb. But he never got the opportunity George W. Bush was given [on Sept. 11]: the historic chance to lead. -- Chris Matthews in the San Francisco Chronicle

History revision alert.

To be fair, BC is a [mentally & emotionally] sick person. He is a pathological liar. After he repeats a lie several times, he truly believes it himself. He probably is the first person to believe the lies he tells.

I wouldn't give a crap about his pathologies if he had not been in a postition of power, enabling him to do severe damage to our country and the future of our children.

Mark Twain wrote about a circumstance in which he had been swindled in a horse sale by the auctioneer's brother, "If the auctioneer's brother's funeral takes place while I am in Virginia City, I will postpone all other recreation and attend it." I feel the same way about Bill Clinton.

As long as he is alive and able to speak, he will lie. And all his lies will have the same theme -- to pump up Bill Clinton and damage everyone else around him. The only thing which will shut his lying mouth is when he is finally dead. (Mind you, I do not threaten him in any way. I just hope he dies of natural causes, but promptly.)
