The Tony Snow Show Thread, Tuesday, August 16, 2005
Fox Radio/Tony Snow | 8/16/2005 | Tony Snow

Posted on 08/16/2005 5:49:49 AM PDT by saveliberty

Guests and topics on Tony's show today include:

What Did the 9/11 Commission Know and When Did They Forget It?

Why is the 9/11 Commission stonewalling on the effectiveness of Able Danger?
What are they trying to hide? Rep. Curt Weldon (R - PA) has the latest.

The Decline and Fall of Mother Sheehan

Tony's a humane guy.  He doesn't want to criticize a grieving mother. But the
left will simply use Cindy Sheehan and move on, and where will she be in
two months?

The Dean Dragon

"Facts are facts," Dr. Dean says.  "You can't deny the facts." Tony can't deny
that the good doctor is starting to sound like a komodo dragon.

I can't get him either. I a thinking of asking for a satellite radio for my birthday. (Tony should ask for a commission from the manufacturer.)

Shut down your computer, and let it sit for 30 seconds or so. Not a restart, do an actual shutdown. It might clear out something in the puter brain, then try to stream.... Just a suggestion.

I hope you don't! I work at a mall--and I love people-watching out our windows.

We see LOTS of "Muffin Tops" walkin' by! And I have told everyone about them. It is a true statement--oooo those oozing tummies! Ick!

LMAO!!

These shuttle/mass transit people just kill me. They could put free cheesecake and world class live entertainment on every shuttle and I would still drive every day. I LIKE my car. I don't want to make 8000 stops between my house and my job and let's face it- there are some freaky ass people on the bus/train/whatever. In my car the only freaky person in the car is me and that I can handle. :-)

For many people, driving is the only time they are alone!

There is NO reasonable mass transit in Indianapolis. There is a bus system that runs at inconvenient times and doesn't reach the suburbs. It also never goes where I need to go. Indianapolis has no trains or subways. It's cars or stay home.

They have a point NARAL did not keep their powder dry. They went after him too soon. It gave us enough time to refute their lies.

Thanks for your wonderful comments! I am sorry you can't get the stream--I even use it when I can get it on the radio. It's just so much more personal this way.

Thanks for commenting on my profile page. It has taken me a while to "clean" it up. I was taught some things by FEllow FReepers. Someone gave me the little fox recently.

Thanks, but I tried a complete 5 minute shutdown and ran Spybot. I defragged only a few days ago but I use so little of the total memory that it did little. Some of this stuff began after I installed Windows Media 10; I think I may go back to version 9.

Dems are evidently going to give Judge Roberts a pass. But all hell is going to break loose when Renquist retires and President Bush names a candidate for his seat. Count on it.

If you want to know about hybrids and other alternative fuel vehicles --- HERE IS YOUR EXPERT...HAVE HIM ON THE SHOW. He's not available for a few days. He's drinking MaiTais on a beach in Hawaii.

I've done some writing in the field and driven many of the vehicles, including the fuel cell prototypes from DaimlerChrysler on the test track at Stuttgart. I was there for a week, including election 2000 night. It was really fun explaining to automotive journalists what was going to happen in Florida and how the electors would be given to George Bush. If the Democrats tried to steal the election, the legislature would do its constitutional duty. Fortunately, the GOP had firm control on both Florida houses.

I'm with you.....I want to drive myself, no mass transit. I am a horrible backseat driver. I'm sure hubby is out to get us listed as one of the "Holiday statistics" so I feel it is my duty to "help" him stay in his lane!

Just gotta tell you, I'm still chuckling over your MIL and the snow-cone story on your blog! Way too funny!!
