China may give nuclear assistance to Bangladesh

16 August 2005: Next week, Bangladesh prime minister Khaleeda Zia is visiting China to seek nuclear assistance, and to this end, she will invite Chinese experts to set up civilian nuclear plants.

But many diplomats say that Bangladesh is following Pakistan’s way, with the Chinese preparing the ground to proliferate to it, and significantly, after four years of Bangladeshi pressure, China has agreed to assist in nuclear energy, in return for strategic naval bases in the Bay of Bengal.

This is scary. Note its just an intel report so it can be taken with a grain of salt. But still, China has done this in the past. They armed North Korea and Pakistan with nukes and missiles. They want to do the same with Iran too.

I think its China's strategy to create a bunch of client states that will fight their wars. Like North Korea against Japan, Pak against India, Iran against USA etc.

And while those client states blossom, we cut our nuclear arsenal down to about 1000 warheads. Brilliant.
