The wall is crumbling. With the recent revelations about Able Danger and now the State Department's 1996 memo warning the administration to not let UBL go to Afghanistan, Clinton is toast. The fact that Clinton had the nerve to say that he would've been tougher on UBL is a joke when we see what he knew...or at least should've known.
When you throw in the numerous attempts by Sudan to turnover UBL; the number of times the DoD countermanded orders to kill UBL; the wall to preclude information gathering and sharing between agencies...it is obvious were the blame for 9/11 lies.
I'm also beginning to see why the Commission chose 1998 as the cutoff date for this investigation. So much of the roots of these problems occured before then.
Don't forget about Hillary on the Senate Armed Services committee to keep track of military intelligence information.

The 911 commmission was all about covering up negligence on the part of both parties. When politicians get confronted by unmovable facts (like stumps) they simply plow around them. Cowardly republicans (a well earned title) like to be regarded as "go along to get along" guys.

They can say that, but it just so happens that during Clinton's impeachment ordeal, he waged attacks on 4 soverign nations within an 8-month span (Afghanistan, Sudan, Iraq and Kosovo). His problem wasn't about being able to do anything...it was about finishing everything.
Instead of his one-week wars on terrorism and Saddam, he could've taken these oppurtunities to do severe damage to these institutions. Unfortunately, it was never his intention to look seriously at these problems, but instead, use them as momentary distractions from his own internal problems. To have taken them seriously, would've meant disrupting his carefully cultivated image of bringing peace and prosperity to the world.
Ironically, while there were some in the pundintry who recognized his wag-the-dog tactics, he had the support of many Republicans for these operations...even when they were done behind their back. He not only had the oppurtunities, he took them...and bailed out.
I've always believed that one of the reasons that Clinton never wanted to deal decisively with the terrorist issue is because of his legacy. Not only did he want to be known for presiding over a "peaceful and prosperous" time...he wanted the legacy of Mid-East peace.
If Clinton would've aggressively dealt with Arab terrorism, he would've never been able to get the Palestinians and their Arab brethren on board with the peace-plan. Sadly, after a decade of appeasement...and giving Arafat almost everything he wanted, not only did the peace-plan fail, we were still attacked on 9/11. All his supposed goodwill did nothing but further enable our enemies.
The legacy is a stained dress and the failure to do anything about al Qaeda.
The DUmmies over at DUh are already busily defending clinton, as we speak.
Bill still hasn't hit the mrak: the 'wall' was touted as a way to stop convicted terrorists from making endless appeals, but it was designed to prevent connecting the dots on democrat illegal monies from such as the Red Chinese. Gorelick knows it and White came within a hair of exposing the truth while the degenerate clintons were still in office, in 1995 or 1996, if memory serves.
Clinton's war was called Desert Fox. It lasted four days. It accomplished nothing.....but then as now, the thought that it was a wag the dog deal nags at me.

After a fair trail, he should be facing a you know what!!! End of story!!! I can still see the images of bodies jumping out of windows in the WTC and hearing the thumps as they hit the overhangs or the streets. Yes, I remember the horror of 911, you low life Democrat traitor/treason scum and murderer of innocents!!!
I thought the 911 commision was a sham from the beginning. It was used to lionize Richard Clark( who had just released a book) and trash Condi Rice.
