What of desception or sleight of hand? How does one use that concept here, when Iran and Syria are such likely targets?

We were taught that is part of "Surprise" .... Will we attack? How? Where? Will the Kurds overthrow the Iranian government? Will the students? Will the Iranian military overthrow it's government? Will we support the overthrow? How? Will suicide bombers again show up in the capital of Syria? What happens when an ACR starts maneuvering on the border?
