Jesus said that some people hated Him because He told them their ways were bad. He also said this:

"Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit."

No one likes to hear that we are doing crummy things. I certainly don't. But conviction, and dropping our pride, are the first steps towards healing. Some people will never listen.
