When it comes to being a place friendly to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender travelers, Salt Lake City is a much nicer place than most people would think - based on Utah's reputation as a bastion of conservatism.
** They seem to be saying because they're aren't lynched,killed and oppressed that the Mormons and other religious people accept/believe in their sexual lifestyles. I have gay friends, have met many gay males,etc. but they know that I'm concerned for their health and well being. They seem surprised that christians are acting like christians.
Interesting point. Also shows why charity and human decency can be taken advantage of by those with an aggressive agenda.
Kind of like people who don't lie are more likely to be taken advantage of scam artists who lie professionally.
I know personally about the above!
