People are free to leave a religion if they disagree, free to talk negatively in public about it, free to associate with non-believers, even if discouraged, and most don't have to agree to tithe. And that's just for starters. Believe or don't believe in religion, that's a freedom in our country, but Scientology is not a typical 'religion' and it's believers aren't free.
