I, too, say this all the time. It's in his eyes. They don't smile or laugh with him. They don't 'emote'. They do look 'crazy'. Contrast that with very early works of his, Risky Business and before. Big difference.
I predict his falling out with the Hubberidians will be very messy.
It nearly was. It's rumored he tried to break with them a couple years ago, around the time he and Nicole split, but they isolated him and coaxed him back. That's just another wacky feature of the 'religion', the isolation of those trying to leave until they are coaxed back. Not all are, but the 'important' members seem to be.
