Kerry said Democrats have an opportunity to rebuild nationally by simply addressing the concerns that affect people's daily lives -- energy, transportation, health care and security. He forgot "the environment" and "education" talking points.

Actually Kerry is right on this.
Most Democrats in the same ilk as Nancy Pelosi think the party should move more to the left. I agree since that is only an attempt to reflect the reality of who they are.

On Energy - Democrats reject any oil exploration, while offering nothing to counter the need for oil
Transportation - Democrats suggest higher Cafe standards (Higher Priced Vehicles) while ignoring the need for more Refineries
Health Care - Democrats promote Hillary Care...Nuf said
Security - Democrats offer appeasement and dialog with Terrorists.
Clue for Democrats: You cannot rebuild your party on a previously failed platform
