Tell us your opinion of Senator Kennedy and his views of the war.

More important is to let him know the extent of support and love he is getting from the majority of the people back home.
Show him all the websites supporting the troops, from the mom sending air condtioners to the letters and emails being forwarded by various concerned citizens.

When the Media or protesters criticize the Commander in Chief or Secretary of Defense, Do you take it personally?
In other words, do you feel it is an attack on members of the Military?

Mr. Pike,
Thank you for your service. I have never served, but, I have immense respect for the military and for the difficulties that are endured (especially at war time).
Did you join the military because it was something that you wanted to do or did the military take advantage of your youth or economic status? Does that question make you groan?
Not that I feel that way, I often hear it posited by non-military people and just wanted your opinion.

Ask these questions:
Who did you vote for in November for President of the United States?
What percentage of your military friends did the same?
If the US Constitution allowed for President Bush to run for a third term, what percentage of those military members in Iraq would cast a vote for him over any possible nominee from the democratic party?
Do you have any suggestions for capturing/killing Zarquari?
Do you have any first-hand knowledge of the effectiveness of the Iraqi troops to defend their country after we leave?
Would you suggest setting up at least one military base in Iraq? If so, what types of outfits would you station there? Why?
Do you think we may need to mount at least one more major offensive before we leave? If so, where would you do it and what would be the target?
How is the overall morale of the US troops?
Do you interact with troops from other nations? What is their morale and general conduct toward the US?
What do the troops say about the media's coverage of the war?
Do you have good access to the media? If so, what can you view on TV or read?
What is your favorite media outlet? Why? What do you avoid? Why?

My only question would be " Do you feel that we are doing the right thing by being in Iraq?"
My son just came back and he feels very strongly about his answer to this question. A resounding YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'm always wondering about how they communicate with the Iraqi people. I know many units have interpreters, but is there a good percentage of the population that knows English?

I just watched the DVD "Man on Fire." The question the nun asked the bodyguard was, "Do you see God's hand in your work?" It was an interesting movie about redemption. That would be a good question to ask.
Other questions: Are the Iraqi people open to Christ? Do you think the Kurds should have their own country? Is democracy going to survive in an islamic country?
