Uh, wrong.
Most Mexicans are mixed Amerindian and European, with a larger Amerindian component in their gene pool.
Most Dominicans are of African or Mulaltto ancestry.
Most Argentineans are of European ancestry.
Really. So which race, specifically, does "hispanic" represent? Please refer to official U.S. census categories. Let's see there..."American Indian or Alaska Native; Asian; Black or African American; Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander; and White". Now, check the U.S. census categories for hispanic and you'll see that it is officially an ethnicity, not a race, and are the only ethnicities tracked by the U.S. census. Before 1997, hispanic actually fell under "white" as a race. Since then, hispanics can identify as any race but also include that their ethnicity is hispanic.
The point is that the race-baiters use the "racist" label as a bludgeon to extort people into doing things their way. It is a cudgel the left wields and it is folly for conservatives to help them wield it.
